In triangle AOD

By Pythagoras

OA^2=OD^2+AO^2

25 = 9 + AO^2

AO^2= 25 - 9 = 16

AO = 4

AB = 2 OA. :- OD is perpendicular bisector of AB

AB = 2 * 4 =8 cm
