To Find :

For the given amount of gas at STP pv is = ?

Solution :

∴We know that STP stands for standard temperature and pressure i.e. the value of temperature and pressure taken at standard conditions .

So, the values of pressure P and temperature T will be :

P = 1 atm and

T = 25° C

Here , we are given that volume of gas is :

V= 11.2 L

So , value of PV at STP will be given as :

PV = pressure at STP \times \\  Volume given

PV = 1 atm \times 11.2 L

PV = 11.2 L atm

So the value of PV for give n gas at STP is 11.2 L atm.
