∴ 12 dozen= 108 rupees = CP
And one and half dozen were broken
∴ remaining eggs = 12-3/2=21/2 dozens
rest eggs sold at 12 rupees per dozen
∴ SP=(21/2)*12 =126
here SP is more than CP
∴ gain=SP-CP
=126-108
=18 rupees
and gain%=(gain/CP)*100
=(18/108)*100
=16%
