hey mate....you answer is option (C) X-e^-----> X^+
because it looses 1 electron to achieve noble gar configuration i.e. 2,8 and then it forms a positive ion { cation}

Electronic configuration of sodium is 2,8,1
Hence if we remove one electron from its outermost shell it will convert into cation.....
