then his mother's present age will be M = 6X

5 years from now i.e, X+5

(X+5) = 1/3 M

x+5 = 6X/3    ( since M = 6X)

X + 5 = 2X

X = 5

the present age of Avinash is 5 years and his mother is (6×5) i.e,  30 years
