a.) This is poem 36 from Geetanjali written by Rabindranath Tagore.

• In this stanza, the poet is praying to God to remove all the poverty of the spirit and make him reach above all to serve Him.
• He requested the God to let him experience his joy and sorrow but give him enough strength to not get too affected by those feelings.
• He prays for the strength to raise himself above the daily events and finally ask to surrender and devote himself to the mighty God.
