Well, you are comparing a single celled organism with very complex multi cellular organism… we all know about human evolution. But bacterial evolution are less studied area thus we can't compare (anyways there's no need of comparison with complex multi cellular with unicellular organisms). But we might not know how is bacteria getting evolved maybe it's getting resistant to antibiotic, maybe a virulent strain evolved into virulent one, it's ability to grow in harsh conditions. And never think humans are superior to bacteria, you might already know about worst bacterial diseases and resistance. But still we are becoming kind of superior by deep investigation of bacterial genome and manipulation as already it's done in agriculture and pharmaceuticals.
