Biogas plant is a set up that helps in the production of biogas or gobar gas. Biogas is a methane rich fuel gas produced by the anaerobic bacteria. It is a breakdown of biomass with the help of methanogenic bacteria. The gas consists of methane (50-70%), carbon dioxide (25-35%),nitrogen (2-7%) and traces of hydrogen and hydrogen sulphide.
