area of triangle= 1/2 * base * height

Step-by-step explanation:

so base of the first triangle= 9units

height=5units

therefore area= 1/2 * 9*5

45/2 or 28 1/2 (mixed fraction)

base of second traingle=10units

height= 6units

area= 1/2*10*6

30units

therefore their ratios

28.5 : 30
