The Galaxies are moving away from each other many astronomers believe that the must have originally start from a single point in space. This is Evolutionary Theory sometimes popularly called the Big Bang according to the theory all the matter in the universe generally concentrated in one lump no larger than the size of the solar system but with enormous density about 10 thousands million years ago the slump exploded and the universe started in expansion.
