blood doesn't clot because there is huge amount of platelets and blood which is being pumped by the heart and hence prevents in cloting in blood vessels

Blood doesn't clot in blood vessels because the chemical which causes the blood to clot in the cut area gets activated only when it comes in contact with air (oxygen) to form the clothing substance.
