Many things can be dissolved in water, including air. When the water is boiled, the dissolved air leaves the water and the result is a flat taste. After boiling water, aerate the water by pouring it back and forth a few times between two containers. This adds air to the water and it will taste better.

Whereas Pleasnat taste of tap water is because it contains dissolved matter like salts , carbon dioxide and minerals. but boiled or distilled water has not minerals or salts. this it tastes flat.

Answer:

However, you might not like the taste because it's flatter and less flavorful than tap and bottled waters. Companies produce distilled water by boiling water and then condensing the collected steam back into a liquid. ... Others claim distilled water leaches minerals from your body and could put your health at risk.
