From the structures, it is clear that CO has a bond order 3, CO₂ has a bond order 2, CO₃²⁻ has a bond order between 1 and 2.

Order of bond order:

CO₃²⁻ < CO₂ < CO

Since, bond length is inversely proportional to bond order,

Order of bond length:

CO < CO₂ < CO₃²⁻
