Let Bonnie's age be 'x'

And Clyde's age be 'y'

$x = y+4 --(1)$

$x-10 = 2(y-10)$

$x-10 = 2y - 20$

$x - 10 - 2y + 20 = 0$

$x +10 - 2y = 0$

Sub (1) here now

$y+4+10-2y = 0$

$-y+14 = 0$

$y=14$

So

$x=y+4$

$x=14+4$

$x=18$

Clyde's age 10-x
Bonnie's age 10-(x+4) = 10-x-4 = 6-x
