The part of the brain that connects forebrain and hindbrain is called midbrain.

Brain is the organ that controls the function of a body by receiving, processing, and sending signals.

Forebrain is concerned with analytical, logical, reasoning, decision making etc. There are three types of functions, endocrine, motor and autonomic that is regulated by forebrain.

Midbrain helps in the processing of visual and auditory information thus regulating body movement.

Hindbrain maintains balance, coordination of body movement, acts as a relay centre and also performs autonomic functions.
