a=-5m/s2(in opp. Direction)

t=1.5sec

v=0(because the car has stopped)

u=??

s=??

NOW

V=u+at

0=u+(-5)*1.5

0=u+(-7.5)

-u=-7.5

U=7.5

NOW WE HAVE TO FIND S

S=UT+1/2at2

S=7.5*1.5+1/2*5*1.5*1.5

S=11.25+5.625

S=16.875m
