HEy maTe here's ur answer __✌️❤️✌️
Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is secreted by the pars distalis region of the anterior pituitary.
Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) is secreted by the pars distalis region of the anterior pituitary. It regulates the development, growth, and reproductive processes of the human body. In the ovary, FSH stimulates the growth and maturation of ovarian follicle. As the follicle grows and matures, it releases an inhibitory hormone known as inhibin that ends the process of FSH production.

The formation of this complex leads to biochemical changes in the ovarian follicle, present in the ovary. The ovarian follicles mature and release a mature ovum in the fallopian tube for fertilization.

Hey mate ✌✌
➡️ FSH ( follicular stimulating harmone ) :-
being glycoprotein is insoluble in lipids, therefore, can't enter the target cells.
It binds to the specific receptor molecules located on the surface of the cell membrane to form harmone - receptor complex.
This complex causes the release of an enzyme ADENYLATE CYCLASE from the receptor site.
This enzyme forms the cell cyclic adenosine monophosphate ( cAMP ) from ATP .
The cAMP activates the existing enzyme system of the cell.
The harmone is called first messenger and the cAMP is termed the second messenger.
The harmone - receptor complex changes the permeability of the cell membrane to facilitate the passage of materials through it .
This increases the activities of the cell as it receives the desired material.
