The play, Mother’s Day gives a very valuable and relevant message. The playwright has tried to bring the issue of mothers being neglected and mistreated by their family members; they treat her like a servant. Through the events in the play, the playwright masterfully portrays the plight of mothers at almost all homes. They do all the work; they do most of the sacrifices; and yet they don’t get enough respect and appreciation from family members. The playwright has indirectly taught us that we must respect our mothers more and be grateful to them for what they do for us.
