By applying phythagoras theorem a body moves with a velocity of 3m/s due east and turns due north to travel with the same velocity. if the total time of travel is 6s find the acceleration

distance= 3*6= 18m

in triangle abc ab^2+bc^2=cd^2

ab+bc=18

18^2=cd^2

cd=18m

acceleration= v/t

=3/6

=0.5 m/s^2
