CP-SP=LOSS
CP - SP of 36 bananas= SP of 4 bananas
CP=SP of 40 bananas

let CP of 36 bananas be rs 100
then,SP of 40 bananas=rs 100
SP of 36 bananas=rs90

LOSS=rs 100- rs 90
=rs 10
LOSS%=rs10÷rs100×100%=10%
