Hey mate...... Here is the correct answer :

let the selling price of one lemon be rupees X

then selling price of 45 lemons is equals to 45 X

and selling price of 3 lemons is equals to 3 x

now lost is equals to the selling price of 3 lemons is equals to 3 X

therefore CP is equals to 45 X + 3 x is equals to 47 x

now loss is equals to CP minus SP

is equals to 47 x minus 45x is equals to 2x

so loss percent is equals to loss upon CP * 100

= 4.25 %
