I was living with my grandparents and my parents in Indore along with my 1 elder brother and 1 elder sister. My mom is from a Place called Ahmednagar in Maharashtra. We used to visit my maternal grandparent in summer vacations.
I have 4 maternal uncles and all were married . My mom had two sisters and 1 was married and another was a widow. My widowed Mausi was not quite old though she was in her late 40s. Her husband was died in an accident in farm field.
My Mausi was nice and she used to tell us lots of stories , we used to play a lot with my cousins and uncles till late night. The place where we living was a huge old 3 story house made up of wooden structure and in popular Maharashtrian culture its called WADA. Though it didn’t had any open center place but it’s was an old mansion. My grandparent was considered a rich guy at that time.
One day we all had to go for wedding ceremony of one of our distant relative in same town, the wedding time was around noon and everyone was rushing to get ready. We all kids were ready and playing out side waiting for others. around noon everyone was ready and we all set to go together walking. At the last moment my grandparent realized he forgot some thing and my widowed Mausi went back in home to get it for my grandparent. After she went back in , in 2 minute my Mausi screamed and it was really scary . We all ran inside home and found my Mausi is standing in Kitchen, scared and completely pale. Everyone searched the entire home but couldn’t find anything. My Mausi was completely in shock and never spoke any thing after that incident.
My grandparent took her to different doctors and hospitals but her condition never improved. She was quite after the incident , never spoke and she acted hysterical at times by crying , hitting herself in her head and running around the house. She lived for 4 more years like that and died in her early fifties.
Till today, we dont know what happens to her or what she saw that day but whenever I remember that day, I still feel scared.
