2. Diversity is thus caused because India is open to people from every part of the world. And when people travel to and from a place, they carry with them the old traditions and new practices.

3. In a globalized world, it is impossible to remain uninfluenced by foreign traditions. Though this is often seen as a bad influence, subjectively speaking, it is a great way of increasing the diversity. The newly influenced people take the cultural entity and appropriate it for their own societies giving rise to a new culture. An example for this is the language of English. The colonizers left us with this language and now there are many types of English within India. This has only added on to the language and given it greater depths.
