= The Amazon rainforest is the largest forest. It grows in the tropical basin of the Amazon River. The forest lies in a basin drained largely by the Amazon River, with 1100 tributaries. It is a moist broadleaf forest which covers seven million square kilometers (1.7 billion acres).

2) Function of hight Court

= High Courts are also Courts of Record (like the Supreme Court). The records of the judgements of the High Courts can be used by subordinate courts for deciding cases. All High Courts have the power to punish all cases of contempt by any person or institution.

3) Introduction of the Governor

= The governor appoints the chief minister, who enjoys the support of the majority in the State Legislative Assembly. The governor also appoints the other members of the Council of Ministers and distributes portfolios to them on the advice of the chief minister.
