Oxygen has the following electronic configuration :
1s2 2s2 2p4
The last three electrons exist in 2 nd shell so now :
1st electron :
n = 2
l = 1
m = -1
s = -1/2 (let us take this eleron to have negative spin and the other electron present in smae orbital has positive spin like the other 2 in other orbitals)
2nd electron :
n = 2
l = 1
m = 0
s = +1/2
3rd electron :
n = 2
l = 1
m = 1
s = +1/2
