the given figure is made by two rectangles and one parallelogram by applying the formula of area of rectangle and area of parallelogram we can find the area of the following figure
area of rectangle equal to base height
=2*9=18
and as there are two rectangles
so, 18*2=36
now the area of parallelogram its formula is also same area of parallelogram is equal to base into height
=5*2=10
show the area of the whole figure is=36+10=46
hope it helps you:-)
