Weight of the body = 120N

We know that weight of the body is equal to the force applied.

So Weight = Force applied = 120 N

Pressure = 6000 Pascal

Force/Area = 6000 Pascal

120/Area = 6000

120/6000 = Area

Area = 12/600

Area = 2/100

Area = 0.02 m²

So Area is 0.02m²

Verification :

Pressure = 6000 Pascal

Force/Area = 6000

120/0.02 = 6000

6000 = 6000

LHS = RHS
