Change in internal energy is 100 J

Explanation:

Given,

dQ = 100 J

According to first law ,

dQ = du + dw

du = dQ - dw

if the container is rigid so,

 dv = 0

then , dw = p\times dv

          dw = p\times {0}

          dw = 0

Now we get,

du = dQ

du = 100 J

Change in internal energy is 100 J
