The value of change in the value of g will be

( - 0.0168m/s²)

Explanation:

To find the value of change in the value of g, we have

g^{'} = g - Rw²cos²θ.

where θ is the latitude angle i.e θ = 45°

and w is the angular velocity and R = 6.37x10³km = 6.37x10⁶m

then we have to find the change in the value of g, i.e

Δg = g' - g = ( g- Rw²cos²θ) - g

Δg = -Rw²cos²θ,......(1)

where w angular velocity i.e

w = \frac{2\pi }{T}  , T is the time period

w = \frac{2\pi }{24x3600} rad/sec

Then putting the value of w in above equation (1)

Then we have

Δg = - 6.37x10⁶x (\frac{2\pi }{24x3600})^{2} x cos^{2}45

by solving the above value we get change in the value of g    i.e ,

Δg = - 0.0168ms⁻²
