Calculate the current drawn by a resistor from a 110 v line, if the same resistor when connected to a 220v line draws a current of 60mA.

first find R

ie V=IR

R=V/I

=220/60

=22/6

now substitute this R in the case of 110 V

iE

V=IR

I=V/R

=110/22/6

=[110][6] /22

=30 A

30A is drawn from 110V line

V=IR

220=60 R

⇒R=220/60

110=I* (220/60)

⇒I=110/(220/60)=30 mA (ANS)
