Given :-

  • Principal = Rs. 3000
  • Rate of intrest = 10%
  • Time = 3 years

To Find :-

  • Simple intrest = ?

Answer :

  • Simple intrest = Rs. 900

Explaination :-

➝ Simple Intrest = Principal × Rate × Time ÷ 100

➝ Simple Intrest = 3000 × 10 × 3 ÷ 100

➝ Simple Intrest = 30 × 10 × 3

➝ Simple Intrest = Rs. 900

Therefore, the Interest on Rs. 3000 at 10% per annum for a period of 3 years is Rs. 900.

\huge\bold{\underline{Question:}}

Calculate the Interest on Rs. 3000 at 10% per annum for a period of 3 years.

\huge\bold{\underline{Answer:}}

Given:

\purple\bigstarPrincipal = Rs. 3000

\blue\bigstarRate of interest = 10 %

\green\bigstarTime = 3 years

To find:

Calculate the simple Interest ( I )

Solution:

We know that,

\boxed{\bf{\red{I=\dfrac{P×R×T}{100}}}}

Where,

  • P = principal
  • R = Rate of interest
  • T = Time

\sf{\implies Interest = \dfrac{3000×10×3}{100}}

\sf{\implies Interest = 30×10×3}

\boxed{\sf{\pink{⟹\:Interest (I)=Rs.900}}}

Therefore,the Interest on Rs. 3000 at 10% per annum for a period of 3 years is Rs. 900
