Explanation:

magnetic field due to infinite long current carrying wire is

μ°/4π×2i/a

where, i = current , a = distance from wire μ° = permiability

Now, in first case when current i = 3A and a = 2m

B = μ°/4π×(2×3)/2

B = 3×10^-7 T (°•° μ°/4π = 10^-7)

in second case when current is same but a = 5m

B = 10^-7×(2×3)/5

B = 1.2×10^-7 T
