Both the Sulphur and Phosphorous are polyatomic elements and exists as S8molecule and P4 molecule.
We have, atomic mass of P = 31, atomic mass of S = 32
Molar mass = mass contained by per mole of element = gram molecular mass /gram atomic mass
So, molar mass of S8 molecule = 32 x 8 = 256 gm
Molar mass of P4 molecule = 31 x 8 = 248 gm
We have, atomic mass of P = 31, atomic mass of S = 32
Molar mass = mass contained by per mole of element = gram molecular mass /gram atomic mass
So, molar mass of S8 molecule = 32 x 8 = 256 gm
Molar mass of P4 molecule = 31 x 8 = 248 gm
