calculate the no of atoms of carbon in 5 moles of Co2​

Co2 = 12+16×2 = 12+32 = 44g

C = 12g

44g of Co2 contains 12g of Carbon

that is

1mole of Co2 contains 1 mole of Carbon atoms

Then,

5 moles of Co2 contains 5 moles of Carbon

That is,

1mole = 6.022×10²³

then,

5mole of C = 5×6.022×10²³ = 3.011×10²⁴ carbon atoms
