We will use formula,

No. of moles

= given mass /[ molar mass(or atomic mass)]

a) No. of moles

=given mass of He / mass of 1 atom of He

= 52/ 4

= 13 moles

b) No. of moles

= given mass of oxygen gas /molar mass of O2

= 12/ (2 × 16)

= 3/8

= 0.375 moles

c) No. of moles

= given mass of water / molar mass of H2O

= 20/[ 2(1) +16]

= 20/18

= 10/9

= 1.11 moles
