The molar mass of CO=12+16=28 g By definition, 6.022×1023 atoms (or 1-mole oxygen atoms) are present in CO = 28 g.

Hope It help you ☺

88gCO 2

= 2 moles of CO 2

. One molecule consists of 2 oxygen atoms.

No. of oxygen atoms =2×2×6.02×10 23

=24.08×10 23

CO molecule has one oxygen atom.

Mass of CO containing 24.08×10

23 oxygen atoms = 6.02×10 2328 ×24.08×10 *23 =112g
