Calculate the number of water molecules in one

Answer:

at STP, 22.4L of any gas= avogadro number (6.022×10^23)

6.022×10^23=22.4L

therefore, 1L is,

÷22.4 on both sides,

6.022×10^23/22.4=22.4/22.4

1L=0.26×10^23 molecules.

now, mass of single molecule of water is it's molecular mass.

i.e. molecular mass of water=18 amu
