ph =log 10 to the base 1/10^-8
ph=log 10 to the base 10^8
ph=8 log 10 to the base 10
ph =8*1=8. .(log 10 to the base 10 =1)
hence ph of Noah solution will be 8.

JunaidMirza: pH = - log[H⁺]
JunaidMirza: But given is [OH⁻] = 10⁻⁸
aman26660th: when it go upper side it becomes 10^8
JunaidMirza: What you calculated is pOH
aman26660th: I calculated p(OH)

Answer: The pH of the solution is 6

Explanation:

1 mole of NaOH produces 1 mole of sodium ions and 1 mole of hydroxide ions.

To calculate the pH of the solution, we need to determine pOH of the solution. To calculate pOH of the solution, we use the equation:

pOH=-\log[OH^-]

We are given:

[OH^-]=10^{-8}M

Putting values in above equation, we get:

pOH=-\log(10^{-8})\\\\pOH=8

To calculate pH of the solution, we use the equation:

pH+pOH=14\\pH=14-8=6

Hence, the pH of the solution is 6
