Given:-

⋄ Work done (w) = 200J

⋄ Charge (c) = 8 coulomb

✸ To Find:-

⋄ Potential difference between two points (v) .

Solution :-

We know that,

Potential difference =work done /charge

➧ v= w/c

➧ v= 200/8

➧ v= 25 volt

∴The required answer is 25 volt.

The potential difference between two points is 25 volts.

We have to find the potential difference between two points if 200 Joule of work is done in moving a charge of 8 Coulomb.

Concept : The potential difference between two points is the amount of work done in moving a unit charge from one point to another point.

Illustration : Let a charged particle q is moving from A to B in a uniform electric field due to it, the amount of work is to be done to move this charge is W, then potential difference between A and B is given by,

V_A-V_B=\Delta V=\frac{W_{(A-B)}}{q}

Here workdone, W = 200 Joule

charge, q = 8 Coulomb

∴ ΔV = 200/8 = 25 Volts

Therefore the potential difference between the two points is 25 Volts..
