radial nodes = n - l - 1
where n is principle quantum number
l is azimuthal quantum number.
in case of 3d , n = 3 and l = 2
so, angular nodes = 2
radial nodes = 3 - 2 - 1 = 0
in case of 4f , n = 4 and l = 3
so, angular nodes = 3
radial nodes = n - l - 1 = 4 - 3 - 1 = 0
