W=8•2.5•10
W=8•25
W=200J

hello mate here is ur ans

given:. mass(m)=8kg
height(h)=2.5m

we know that, Force= mass×acceleration.

since force is applied to raise the stone
hence acceleration becomes acceleration due to gravity ,,
hence the equation becomes

F=m×g
therefore, F=8×9.8 =. 78.4N======(1)

since we know that

work done is given by

W=mgh

s=h=2.5m


then substituting the values we get

w= 78.6×2.5

then w=200J
