Can a displacement reaction be a redox reaction. Explain with suitable examples

Yes, a displacement reaction is also a Redox reaction as it is always accompanied by oxidation-reduction. In this type of reaction, more electronegative chlorine displaces iodine from the salt potassium iodide.
