Can a molecule of an element be same as it's atom? Give an example.

yes ,as long as the molecule ia made up of atoms of the same element. Eg: oxygen , hydrogen ,chlorine, helium ,etc. The atom is the basic unit of matter and a molecule is made up of multiple atoms in case of Homo atomic molecules such as Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Chlorine etc.
