The absolute value of internal energy cannot be determined because internal energy it is the sum of various types of energiesof a system which cannot be calculated. We can however calculate change in internal energy as the system undergoes a process.

Answer: Yes the internal energy of a system cannot be determined.

Explanation:

Its because of the Heisenberg's uncertainty principle i.e. Δ E Δ t ≥ h/4π so, the energy associate with an electron in an atom can never be calculated with 100% accuracy thus u can never get an absolute value of internal energy for an atom but u can get a probabilistic value for it.  if u find my answer informative enough please mark it as the brainliest .
