can any give me the brief description of the lesson poverty as challenge class 9th NCERT ? I mean the important stuff we should focus for exams ? and some important details about the census. tomorrow is my exams please answer fast its really urgent.... please ?

Poverty as challenge is a lesson about the poverty our country is facing . In India roughly 270 million people are in poverty.poverty also means lack of clean water and sanitation facilities .india from about 45 percent in 1993-94 to 37.2percent in 2004-05.the proportion of people below poverty line further came down to about 21.9 percent in 2011-12.The number of poor declined from 407.1 million in 2004 -05 to 269.3 million in 2011-12 with average annually decline of 2.2 percentage points during 2004-05 to 2011-12.The survey of these are conducted by NSSO.
