Hello,

Here we go,

The answer of question number 1 is given in the attachment.

Answer of question number 2 is as follow,

Let root 5 be a rational number in the form of a/b where a and b are coprime numbers and b not equal to zero.

√5 = a/b

By squaring both side,

5 = a²/b²

5b² = a²

So 5 divides a² as well as a.

Let a = 5c

5b² = 25c²

5c² = b²

So 5 divides b² as well as b.

Has the same number divides both the numbers so our exemption is wrong that root 5 is a rational number.

Prove that root 5 is an irrational number.

Answer for question number 3 is given in the attachment.

Answer for question number 4 is given in the attachment.

Answer for question number 5 is given in that attachment.

The solution of rest answers are given in rs Aggarwal book of class 10.

I hope my answer will help you.
