Dear Diary,
Today I had a different experience. At first I was hesitant, because I thought it was going to be such a waste of my playtime but then I did it anyway. I can't tell you how glad I am that I did! She was making Aalo ki sabji for dinner and I told her that I would help her in whatever way that I could. At first she was surprised and then she asked me to make the dough for the rotis. With her instructions, I made the dough and made tiny spheres out of it. She taught me how to make it into round rotis and then heat them on the pan. I have always thought that cooking was easy but today I realized that it was not. Everyday my mother does so much work for us and Tara and I don't even thank her. Today was a real eye-opening day.
