2.4 Litres covers 43.2 KM.

So, 1 Litre cover = 43.2/2.4
=18 Km/litres!

Given:-
Distance covered by vehicle in 2.4litres of petrol =43.2km
Distance covered BT vehicle in 1 litre of petrol
=total distance covered \total quantity of petrol
=43.2\2.4km=[432\10÷42\10]km
=432\10×20\24km
=18×1\1×1
=18\1km
=18km
