Heya ,
__________

●NOUN :- A noun is a name. This name can be that of a living thing, a place, a thing or an idea.

Example: VInod is a friendly boy. (Here, ' Vinod’ and ‘boy’ are both names of living beings)

I am standing on the road near India Gate.(Here, ‘Road’ and ‘India Gate’ are both names of places)

●PRONOUN :- A pronoun is a word which is used in place of a noun to make the sentence less repetitive.

Some pronouns are he, she , they, we.

● VERB :- A VERB IS AN ACTION WORD. IT MEANS AN ACTION. FOR EG: DANCING IS A VERB BECAUSE ITS AN ACTION WHICH MEANS A WAY OF ACTION THAT YOU ARE DOING TOWARDS MUSIC.

● ADVERB :- An adverb is a word which qualifies or modifies the meaning of a verb , an adjective or another adverb.

There are nine kinds of adverb:-

1) Adverb of manner
2)Adverb of time
3)Adverb of place
4)Adverb of degree
5)Interrogative adverbs
6)Adverb of number
7)Adverb of reason
8)Adverb of comparison
9)Adverb of affirmation or negation

● ADJECTIVE :- Adjectives are simply descriptive words or words which describe a quality, condition, etc. of a noun. Instances of Adjectives are large, cute, nice, intelligent, simple, fine, easy, etc.

● PREPOSITION :-Here is a definition of preposition: It is a word, one of the parts of speech, that shows the relationship between a noun or pronoun and other words in a sentence.

For instance:

-  The cat is in a basket;

-  I don’t want to go to school today;

-  He leaned against the wall;

●CONJUCTION :- Some words are satisfied spending an evening at home, alone, eating ice-cream right out of the box, watching Seinfeld re-runs on TV, or reading a good book. Others aren't happy unless they're out on the town, mixing it up with other words; they're joiners and they just can't help themselves. A conjunction is a joiner, a word that connects (conjoins) parts of a sentence.

Here are some example conjunctions:

Coordinating conjunctions Subordinating conjunctions and, but, or, nor, for, yet, so although, because, since, unless

●INTERJECTION :- Interjections are words that are used to express sudden emotions or feeling. They are usually followed by an exclamation mark(!).

For example:

Wow! You look beautiful.

● SIMILE :- Simile is a figure of speech which means an implied comparison made between two objects of different kinds which have however at least one point in common.

For instance,

My love is like a melodyYou are going crazy like an insane person

● REPETITION :-  (the repeated use of the same word or word pattern)

Example: "alone, alone, all all alone..."

● ALLITERATION :-
Alliteration is a term that describes a literary stylistic device. It occurs when a series of words in a row (or close to a row) have the same first consonant sound. For example, “Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Peppers” or “She sells sea-shells down by the sea-short” are both alliterative phrases. In the former, all the words start with the “p” sound, while in the later, the “s’s” take precedence. Aside from tongue twisters, alliteration is also used in poems, song lyrics, and even store or brand names.

Observe the following sentences to understand the concept better:

·Kimmy’s kid’s kept kiting

·Lizie’s lizard likes leaping leopards

·Mike’s microphone made much music

·Ned’s nephew needed new notebooks now not never

● MÉTAPHORE :- It is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.
Example: She is fishing in troubled water.
Here fishing is not used to mean that the person is actually fishing; it is an expression which is used to signify that the person is looking for something that is difficult to obtain.
