• Whole numbers : - All counting numbers including zero are called whole numbers. Example - 0 , 1 , 2 , 3 , 4.
• Integers : - All positive and negative numbers including zero are called integers. Example - 2 , 5 , 0 , -3 , 16 , -15.
• Rational numbers : - A number in the form of p/q where p and q both are integers , but q is not equal to zero are called rational numbers. Example - 0/9 , 5/6 , -3/4 , 8/9.
• Number line : - Numbers represented in the graph are called number line.
